Summary of the 2008 T Car AGM

The following members were elected to the committee:

Following the financial report there was discussion on the club’s status as a non-profit organisation and the annual subscription which will remain unchanged. Two signatures will be required on cheques in future from the treasurer and either the president or secretary.

Items discussed in general business included the costs and the dates for future AnRals. Kath O’Neill will investigate Tauranga as a possible venue for 2010 and will report to the committee.

Rally dates and the AGM date and time will be in the November newsletters.

A remit from Ashley Blair with eight suggestions for the new committee to consider was passed.

Other matters discussed were for partner’s names to be on the membership list, and the Mid Winter Rally. Colleen will put more details in the newsletter.

Tony Lowen is very happy to continue running the website provided he gets material to put up.

Colleen Bell thanked the outgoing Committee and wished the incoming Committee well. She then proposed that Alan Ford, Trevor and Lois Phillips all be made Life Members - carried unanimously.
